Hello-

I am almost finished with reading Debt Cures. I wanted to review the bonus CD that Kevin Trudeau includes when you order the book. I have listened to it 3 times already. I like it. He says upfront that none of this stuff he is going to reveal is new. But that does not take away from the quality of the information he provides.

It does not offer specifics on how to create wealth. It does offer the principles that anyone who has become successful has used. He talks about the books you should read and that you should be a reader period.

Some of the books he recommends are The Law of Success in 16 Lessons by Napoleon Hill, The Secret, The Richest Man in Babylon, See You at the Top, and The Magic of Thinking Big.

You need to save 10% of what you earn first before you pay any bill he says.

He states that 5 years from now, your income will be the average of your 5 closest friends. If all your friends are broke, you need to find some new friends he says. I agree with this statement. I have heard this stated before as well. The reason being is that if your friends don’t have money, they will probably be complaining about how they don’t have any money. Whereas if you have friends who are wealthy or who desire to be wealthy, they will exude positive energy and be a joy to be around. They will encourage you to look for opportunities to create wealth.

He also advises you to try and cut your taxes and your insurance expenses to free up your cash flow so you can use it to build wealth or pay down your debt faster.

He says you also need to work on increasing your income. Some methods he recommends are real estate, stock investing, MLM, and stock trading.

These are just some of the secrets he provides on the CD.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this Debt Cures Bonus CD. Listening to it over and over again will help you get into the right mindset to help you get out of debt and start looking for ways to create wealth.

Have a good week,

Adam

what did he say about the gov. grants?

He recommends MLM and reading THE SECRET to increase your income? And you like it? You think that’s good advice?

You seemed so sane in your 2 part review of his book. There must be subliminal messages in the CD that have taken over your thought process.

    Hello Tim-

He also recommends other books like the Richest Man in Babylon, The Law of Success by Napoleon Hill and See You at the Top. I have not read The Secret. So I cannot personally recommend that book.

As far as MLM, that’s a whole controversial topic in and of itself. But, that’s just one of the ways he mentions of making money. He also mentions eBay, real estate, and investing.

The CD overall is good and I recommend it. Anything that can get people thinking about improving themselves and getting out of debt and not wasting so much time watching TV or other non productive things is good in my book.

    Thanks for the comment,

    Adam

Sorry, Adam, I guess it was rather cynical to only comment on the odd suggestions and ignore the many good ones. And who’s going to get hurt by reading THE SECRET anyway? You’re right about that one. I’d debate you on the wisdom of getting into MLM to gain extra income, or for any other reason, though.

If you like reading self help books, however, may I recommend one of my favorites?

“The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of American’s Wealthy”,
by Thomas J. Stanley, Ph.D and William D. Danko, Ph.D

    Hey Tim-

Thanks for the reply. The Secret is on my list of books to read. I have to see what all the hype is about. As far as MLM, I tried it for a couple years with no results. There are many other ways to earn extra income without having to do all the work MLM requires.

I enjoyed The Millionaire Next Door. I am currently reading one about Andrew Carnegie and his 17 principles of success. I am also doing a review about it http://www.successbooksreviews.com/

Thanks and have a great day,
